01 / XB LIFELOG

PROTOTYPE IN DEVELOPMENT

Give your life
a memory.

Prototype-inspired XB Lifelog artwork showing an Android financial-recording interface connected to journal, lifelog and contact panels. Illustrated details are conceptual.

XB Lifelog is a lifelogging application in development, designed to connect records with their context. Version 1 starts with financial recording for Android. Other recording categories will follow as the product expands.

Prototype-inspired artwork illustrates the product direction; displayed layouts and example details are not a verified feature list.

THE STARTING POINT

V1

Financial recording.
Android first.

A focused beginning for a broader connected-record system.

FIRST CATEGORY

Financial records

AFTER V1

More recording categories

02 / WHAT IS A LIFELOG?

Remember the details.
Keep the context.

A Lifelog is a structured record space for a person, family, business, organisation, community, project, or dossier.

XB Lifelog is being designed as a Personal Integrated Information Management System: a way to bring records, contacts, documents, budgets, targets, catalogue items, and history into a connected whole.

This is the broader design direction, not the complete feature set for V1.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE CONNECTION

A record gains meaning from what it relates to. This example explains the concept; it is not a confirmed V1 workflow.

03 / WHY XB LIFELOG

Less fragmentation.
More meaning.

These are the aims behind XB Lifelog: not simply more storage, but a more useful record of life.

01 / BRING TOGETHER

Fragmented information

Bring disconnected records into a more coherent whole.

02 / CONNECT

Personal context

Keep the relationships that make information meaningful.

03 / CARRY FORWARD

Continuity

Build records that remain useful over time.

04 / THE FIRST PRODUCT FOCUS

Start with financial records.
Build toward a connected lifelog.

V1 / CONFIRMED PRODUCT DIRECTION

Financial recording
for Android.

Version 1 starts with one recording category. The next phase is to test and refine that foundation before expanding the product.

01 / FOCUS

Financial recording

The starting category for V1.

02 / PLATFORM

Android

The first platform in scope.

03 / NEXT PHASE

Test, learn, refine

Use feedback to improve the prototype before broader expansion.

The prototype is in development. Detailed V1 capabilities will be described alongside the prototype as they are confirmed.

05 / MORE THAN STORAGE

A structure for
understanding.

The broader architecture is designed to connect recording with context, control, and continuity. These are planned capabilities, not a list of features already available in V1.

CONNECT

Connected records

Knowledge graph

Connect people, places, events, assets, and other records through structured relationships.

CONTEXTUALIZE

Context for AI

AI context engine

Make selected records useful as context for more relevant assistance, without replacing human judgment.

AUTHORIZE

Controlled sharing

Trust infrastructure

Explore permissioned access and accountability for personal, institutional, and community records.

PRESERVE

Continuity

Digital succession

Explore organised inventories, authorised access, and ways to pass important records forward.

06 / PRIVACY & CONTROL

Your records.
Your terms.

The design goal is to keep people in control of what is recorded, corrected, shared, or kept private.

01

Ownership.

Keep the person’s interests at the centre of the record system.

02

Permissions.

Make access a deliberate choice, rather than treating every record as public.

03

Stewardship.

Support well-managed records that can be corrected and kept useful over time.

DESIGN AIMS / UNDER DEVELOPMENT

Local-first operation, encryption, and final data-use policies remain design aims under development. Confirmed implementation details will be documented as the product progresses.

07 / DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP

A focused beginning.
A broader direction.

Define → Build → Test describes the development path, not a completion checklist or a promised release schedule.

01

Define

Product design, architecture, and scope.

02

Build

The Android financial-recording prototype and its supporting development foundation.

03

Test

User feedback, product refinement, and market testing.

BEYOND THE FIRST VERSION

LATER EXPANSION

Other recording categories

Expand beyond financial recording into the wider areas of life covered by the lifelog vision.

PLANNED INTEGRATION

Hardware and context

Explore connections with Matrix Blackbox and the wider context-and-intelligence architecture.

FUTURE RESEARCH

Digital twins

Explore evolving computational models of personal patterns. Digital twins remain a research direction, not a V1 capability.

08 / QUESTIONS ABOUT XB LIFELOG

The concept.
The practical questions.

What is XB Lifelog?

XB Lifelog is a lifelogging application in development. Its broader aim is to organise records and the relationships between them as a Personal Integrated Information Management System.

What will V1 focus on?

V1 will start with Android-based financial recording. Other recording categories come later, after the initial focus is developed, tested, and refined.

How is a connected record different from an isolated file?

The intended difference is context: a record can be understood through its relationships with documents, contacts, events, or other records. The connected-record example above illustrates the design idea, not a confirmed V1 interface.

Can I download XB Lifelog now?

XB Lifelog is in prototype development. This page introduces the product direction; it does not provide a public download or a release date. Contact Vitalog for development enquiries.

Will I need Matrix Blackbox?

Matrix Blackbox is the sensing hardware in the wider Vitalog System, and its connection with XB Lifelog is planned integration. V1 hardware requirements are not specified in this overview; the confirmed starting scope is Android financial recording.

How are privacy and user control being approached?

Local-first operation, encryption, permissions, and ownership are design aims. Implementation and app-specific data-use policies remain under development, rather than being presented here as verified guarantees.
