Purpose

The public campaign supports completion of the XB Lifelog prototype. The proposed gross campaign target is US$175,000 for approximately 24 months of development and operating expenses.

What a contribution is—and is not

A contribution is voluntary development support and may be either a one-time payment or a recurring monthly subscription. It does not purchase an app, reward, preorder, shares, debt, or a financial return. No charitable status or tax deduction is claimed.

Development uncertainty

XB Lifelog remains in development. A contribution does not guarantee completion, delivery dates, features, access, or project outcomes. The stated operating period is a planning horizon, not a promise.

Use of funds

Funds are intended for programmers and supporting staff, rent, electricity, internet, servers, stationery, and other essential operating expenses. Applicable fundraising costs, payment charges, taxes, and currency conversion may reduce the amount available for development.

Payment and records

Payments are handled by PayPal or other individually agreed receiving routes. The site does not automatically update a fundraising total from PayPal and does not treat a button click or return to the website as evidence of payment.

Refunds and campaign changes

The US$5, US$25, and US$100 subscription plans are intended to bill monthly and continue until canceled. The final refund and cancellation policy still requires approval before public payments are enabled, including the applicable request process, time limits, exceptions, and what happens if development changes or stops.
